The long-range key to preventing illegal dumping is to educate and our youth about the dangers and negative effects of illegal dumping, and teach them to become good stewards of their public land legacy.
Clean Forest Project achieves this goal by going into area schools and delivering an interactive presentation that includes our "get-your-hands-wet" stream table - an incredible visual teaching tool, and by deploying the Education Booth to community events.
With the help of Brady Bear and the Litter bug, Clean Forest Project's mascots, we spread the message of protecting our public lands and the importance of properly disposing of garbage. Brady Bear and the Litter Bug engage grade-school children and motivate them to reduce, re-use, and recycle. Both mascots are the main characters in our comic booklet "The Litter Bug Learns a Litter Lesson". For a free comic, visit our contact page.
Clean Forest Project has also developed "Green Teams" consisting of high school students that volunteer for a school year. Members of the Green Teams help us locate and document dump sites, organize a clean up of the dump site, post anti-dumping signage and monitor the site. At the end of the school year, students write a report on their Green Team project.

On these pages we will work to entertain you, educate you and hopefully you'll come back again and again to see what else we have come up with to surprise you!
We have looked high and low for things to do to keep you busy while you're riding in the car, sitting around the campfire or just thinking, "I'm Bored" and before you say, "How much farther?" that one last time!
There are games and coloring pages for the car trip, or even for those times that the weather just doesn't cooperate.
There are some safety tips basic first aid, and even some information on those plants bugs and animals that you really don't want to run in to.
There are games to play, some do require an adult, so be sure that you read the directions carefully.
We have also included some recipes of yummy things to make, that are all from kids, mom and dad or grandma and grandpa might want to supervise, so be sure to let them know what you're doing .. BEFORE you do it!
Come along, let's go do something!
The first day of third grade puts Judy Moody in a mad-face mood. She just knows everyone will come back from summer vacation with word T-shirts, like "Disney World" or "Jamestown: Home of Pocahontas." All Judy has is a plain old no-words T-shirt. She'll have to go to a new classroom, with a new desk, and she won't have an armadillo sticker with her name on it like she did last year. And knowing her luck, she'll end up sitting next to Frank, the boy who eats paste. For breakfast her dad makes eggs with the yellow middle broken, and her younger "bother," Stink, thinks he knows everything now that he's starting second grade. But bad moods never last long with the irrepressible Judy Moody, and before long, her day--and year--look brighter. Mr. Todd assigns the class a "Me" collage, which sets Judy on a lively and hilarious self-exploration over the next few action-packed weeks.
